Our Baie des Voiles campsite is an ideal starting point for all your sea and mountain outings, and other activities to enjoy near the campsite. Located in the Alta Rocca, less than ten minutes from Porto-Vecchio harbour, explore Corsica Regional Natural Park and enjoy the numerous leisure options and water sports on offer.
Southern Corsica is known for its splendid beaches, small coves and turquoise water. When holidaying in Corsica in a seaside campsite, you're bound to want to make the most of it and head for a swim. Our campsite offers direct access to the beach, but other spots are waiting to be discovered nearby. The unmissable Palombaggia beach, said to be among the most beautiful in Corsica, is less than 30 minutes from the campsite. Settle on the white, super-fine sand, surrounded by umbrella pines. Nature's spectacle surrounds you. Right in front of you, contemplate the Cerbicale Islands archipelago while attempting to spot Sardinia in the distance. Palombaggia beach is ideal for family seaside activities, as its waters are shallow. The Great Beach of Cala Rossa is also very attractive, as is beautiful Benedettu beach. The latter is uncrowded, and is great for a walk along the coastal path.
There's so many aquatic activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. Choose from diving, jet skiing, boat trips, sea kayaking, sailing, water skiing, etc. There's everything you need for exciting holidays in the heart of the Med.
BOAT TRIPS
Sail away to discover secluded spots while exploring the coastline. From the campsite, simply stroll over to nearby water activities centres and rent a boat (with or without a boat license), a stand-up paddle board or even a sea canoe. Treat yourself with an excursion to the turquoise gulf of Porto-Vecchio.
SCUBA DIVING
Corsica is replete with exceptional underwater fauna and flora, enhanced by the clear waters that reveal these wonders. Its seabed is unique and protected. Diving in Saint-Cyprien bay in Porto-Vecchio, or off the Cerbicales Islands, is an unforgettable experience. Immerse yourself in our clear waters and discover corals, large nacres, anemones and even the king of the Corsican sea: the grouper.
SAILING OR JET SKIING
We didn't name our campsite La Baie des Voiles by chance. If you enjoy gliding on the sea at a leisurely pace and delight in the calm of a sailing trip, a catamaran cruise or a sailboat ride are bound to satisfy. Many trips depart near our campsite, such as from Porto-Vecchio harbour. Need to feel the thrill of speed? If you're looking for a thrilling seaside acitivity, rent a jet-ski!
After swimming or hiking, explore Porto-Vecchio. A short walk in the centre of the old town, around Place de la République, is an opportunity to meet local artisans and traders. When exploring the bustling alleys, don't miss out on our delicious island cuisine. It's just the ticket to recuperate from your activities!
L'Ospedale road is only about 10 minutes away. Enter Corsica Regional Natural Park, where adventure lurks at every turn. On its winding, climbing roads, the forest surrounds you. Pines and beeches cover the landscape as far as the eye can see, and when the horizon widens, a sumptuous panorama is unveiled, offering the ideal opportunity for a stop. Our region is perfect for lovers of mountain hikes. The site of Aiguilles de Bavella offers beautiful hikes and its red granite formations are impressive. The picturesque village of Zonza is worth a visit when exploring this unmissable area. While in the heart of Bavella or around Lake Ospedale, why not try canyoning? Natural pools and waterfalls: thrills guaranteed. Alta Rocca also features hilltop villages, all you need is to explore the local roads to discover them.
In the heart of our campsite in Porto-Vecchio, our infinity pool is waiting for you for a true moment of relaxation under the Corsican sun.
Here, there’s no rush: settle comfortably on a sun lounger under a straw parasol, listen to the sound of the cicadas, and simply enjoy the moment. Naturally warmed by the sun’s rays, the water is perfect for relaxing throughout the day.
After a hike through the Corsican maquis, a trip to the beach, or a day exploring the surroundings of Porto-Vecchio, what could be better than a few refreshing laps in the pool? More active guests can enjoy a peaceful swim, while others simply unwind by the water.
Between relaxation, sunshine, and a true holiday atmosphere, our pool quickly becomes one of the campsite’s favourite spots.
